About Us
The Philosophy of the Dhahran
Youth Swim League ( DYSL) is to focus on producing a long term " family
" of progressing swimmer-athletes receiving the benefits of lifelong
health, social growth, self-discipline, and personal success, both in and out
of the pool. DYSL's program is designed to address the needs of age group
swimmers who seek to improve their skills through hard work, dedication,
training, and competition. DYSL emphasizes the enjoyment that is associated
with acquiring fundamental and advanced swimming skills, improved physical
conditioning, productive work habits, positive character growth, and personal
responsibility to enable the age group swimmer to engage in healthy competition
using good sportsmanship. DYSL shall strive to create an atmosphere in which
each swimmer can achieve their full potential.
